The Servant And The Critic

The servant and the critic see the same problem but respond differently. ‘nuf said.

Buzzards fly over the desert searching out dead decaying carcasses while hummingbirds look for sweet nectar of the beautiful wild flowers. Both find what they are looking for in the same desert. We all tend to find what we look for in life.

Whining is a symptom of a much deeper problem. If you’re whining you’re not worshiping and if you’re worshiping you’re not whining.

Eph 1:18 speaks of the “eyes of your heart” referencing of your imagination. The imagination is the incubator God designed to process his words and dreams for your life. Without the imagination engaged properly we will not walk by faith but will merely live by our physical senses. You were designed for more than that!

Matt 13:15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear (KJV says “dull of hearing”) with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts… NIV

Jesus said their imagination has been hijacked! The enemy knows he can’t take your imagination away so he works to hijack it keeping it busy with the wrong stuff. Fear is assigning the resource of faith to believe a lie. Worry is imagination abuse.
